Holiday fun in Joseph, Oregon

Even though there’s no snow on the ground (yet) in Joseph, Oregon, and Wallowa Lake hasn’t yet frozen, we’re getting ready for winter time.  Just like most everywhere, the holiday celebration and shopping season starts on Friday after Thanksgiving.  Here are a few reasons to visit Joseph in the coming month:

  • Jingle through Joseph light parade Nov 29th 5 pm, late night shopping, elves, “North Pole Central” on Saturdays (through Dec 13th)
  • Christmas in Joseph Holiday Bazaar at the Joseph Community Center (Fridays&Saturdays Nov 28th-29th and December 5th-6th). Handcrafters, commerical products, Christmas wreaths & swags,
  • 26th Annual Handcrafters Holiday Bazaar at the Cloverleaf Hall in Enterprise (Dec 5th-6th) (6 miles away)
  • Enterprise Winterfest Dec 13th, light parade at 5:30 pm, late shopping and food/beverages (6 miles away)
  • Holiday displays and friendly art gallery owners in Joseph

Everything in Joseph is walking distance from the Bronze Antler Bed & Breakfast as we’re one block from the edge of the commercial district.  We’ve been known to carry home packages for our guests if they’ve had a lot of fun in the local shops.  If you want to learn more about these events, visit the Wallowa County Chamber of Commerce events page
