Spring Strings in the Wallowas, April 23-27, 2007
The Wallowa Valley Music Alliance and local bed & breafkasts are hosting an exciting mid-week retreat for string chamber music players (violin, viola, cello) designed to celebrate music for string quartets, April 23-27, 2007. Participants are invited to bring along their favorite quartet music and enjoy the majestic beauty of early spring in the Wallowa Mountains. Delicious catered meals featuring the bounty of Eastern Oregon and fellowship opportunities with other string musicians are included. Indoor recreational opportunities for spouses and traveling companions are planned, including an artistic bronze foundry tour on Tuesday. This retreat is a self-directed event designed for the adult recreational string musician. No coaching or instruction will be provided. Choose from: (1) a refreshing salt scrub followed by a soothing salt bath or (2) a salt bath followed with bath & body oil you can either add to your bath or use following your bath as a moisturizer. You tell us when. We draw the water, set out a glass of port or sherry or a nice cup of tea (your choice), turn on the relaxing music and light the candles. You relax with a rather nice waffled bath pillow and loofah to take home with you. Trail's End Foot Spa
The perfect end-of-the-trail treatment for boot-tired feet. We've teamed up with beecrowbee to offer you a complete foot kit to restore those tooties after a long hike in the wilderness. The package includes: comforting lavender & geranium sea salt soak; energizing rosemary & peppermint salt scrub; a pair of comfortable hydrating spa socks. We'll draw a foot tub for you so you can enjoy your soak on the porch or in the garden--your choice. (Of course, the Swiss will vouch for taking care of one's feet in the bidet. You have one in your private bath, so you could soak your feet upstairs too!) The foot kit is individually packaged you so could also take it home as a gift for someone who needs to give their feet a well-deserved break. Price: $13.75 per package

Flowers for My Sweet
Nothing says it quite like flowers or a lovely plant. Give us a minimum 48 hours notice and we'll have a surprise floral arrangement or dish garden waiting in your guestroom for that special someone. We recommend $30 for a nice bouquet or plant. You're also welcome to specify a type of arrangment or plant and a dollar range and we will take care of the rest. Please use the special requirements free-text box in our on-line reservation form, or mention this package when you call to book your reservation. Price: $30 per bouquet or by arrangement.

Oregon Bounty 2007: "Bronze & Beauty in the Wallowas"
