Decorated with Art Nouveau-inspiration, the Sawtooth Mountain Room features reproduction artwork of Gustav Klimt, Alfons Mucha and Parisian poster art, as well as original art by Wallowa County plein air artist Leslie LeViner . An exquisite cast iron stove created in the French “Ecole Nancy” Art Nouveau style is at home in this room as well.

The Sawtooth Mountain Room glows orange in the afternoon western light.  Watch the sun set over Sawtooth, Ruby and Twin Peaks, or catch the fading light to the north over the town of Enterprise. 

The queen-sized Simmons Beautyrest mattress is bedecked with a Sensus 5-pound memory foam mattress topper.  We were attracted to this topper after a thoroughly comparative article in the Wall Street Journal which rated this topper best overall.  Finished with fine linens, down pillows and duvet, the bed is very restful.

The attached bath includes a north-facing window, providing excellent cross-ventilation in Spring and Fall.  Hand-painted MacIntosh rose stencils complement the muted orange décor and highlight the gleaming porcelain bath fixtures.  A combination soaking tub/shower, pedestal sink, bidet and toilet complete this room.
