The Chief Joseph Mountain Room, decorated in shades of sage green, provides spectacular views of the Wallowa Mountains through southern-facing windows.

This room features a Windsor-style queen-sized bed with marble-topped antique nightstands and washstand found during our European travels. An antique Belgian enameled parlor stove has found new life here as an environmental lamp.

The queen-sized Simmons Beautyrest Eurotop mattress atop the bed is decked out in fine linens, down pillows and down duvet—all making for a fine afternoon nap or restful night’s sleep.  Keep the shades up to see the first rosy light on dawn on the snow-capped mountains.

The attached bathroom includes a south-facing window.  Hand-painted gingko leaf stencils compliment the sage green décor and highlight the gleaming porcelain bath fixtures.  A combination soaking tub/shower, pedestal sink, bidet and toilet complete this room.
