Robbers have done this heist once before–the train travels through remote, roadless area along the Grande Ronde and Wallowa Rivers, making it a perfect location to hold up the train and made a getaway before the sheriff arrives.
Once the robbers have made off with their loot and the train is safely back in the station, continue your Eastern Oregon vacation with a stay near Wallowa Lake at the Bronze Antler Bed & Breakfast in Joseph Oregon. No train robbers here but we do have our share of excitement. See you in Eastern Oregon!
